Beacon Street was founded on the principle that buying a pair of high quality shoes should not be complicated nor expensive. We believe that looking your best and feeling confident starts with a great pair of shoes and that everyone should be able to afford a pair.

Our line of loafers is meant to showcase classic styling, with a modern aesthetic.  Shoes that can either dress up your casual wardrobe or add some flair to a more formal occasion.

To make our shoes that best that they can be, we focus on three things:

• A great last.  It's the foundation; where science and art come together to form a stylish aesthetic while ensuring a superior fit.
• High quality materials.  To take advantage of a great last, a shoe needs leathers that have the right properties so that the upper looks great and forms properly.
• Superior shoe making.  Traditional methods can be slower and more expensive to produce, but they yield shoes that look and feel great.

Our loafers are traditional moccasins that are hand-sewn "on the last," a process that ensures an upper fits perfectly on the last during the manufacturing process.  The difference can be felt as soon as you put a pair on.  You will notice how the shoe wraps around your foot and provides support, a feeling lower quality loafers cannot match. 

We offer our shoes in an "E" width, which is slightly wider than normal.  This provides a little more room in the forefoot for added comfort.  The heel is contoured to provide a snug and secure fit in the rear.  Since the leather on Beacon Street shoes will stretch with wear, we recommend that you size down if you are in between sizes, or your foot is little on the narrow side.  Of course, please reach out to us if you have any questions about fit or anything else.
